Description
ECG Rhythm
Atrial rate in excess of 200 bpm but ventricle response limited....  atrial flutter
An ECG that is described as a saw tooth....  atrial flutter
Slowed rate below 60 bpm noted on ECG with normal rhythm..  sinus bradycardia
Rapid series of irregular atrial contractions, leading to an irregular response from ventricles...  atrial fibrillation
Rapid, regular heart rate, without disruption in rhythm, conduction to ventricles is complete (not from sinus node)...  atrial tachycardia
Conduction from the atria to ventricles is partially or completely blocked (slowed rate 25-45 bpm)...  Heart block
Regular pattern, nearly 200 bpm, no visible p wave, electricle source some where in the ventricles...  ventricle tachycardia
Complete loss of regular rhythm, evidence of cardiac contraction is gone, as ventricle function is absent....  ventricle fibrillation
