What is matter?   Anything that has mass and occupies space.  
All matter is made up of small particles called what?   Atoms.  
What are the three states of matter?   Solid, liquid, and gas.  
Matter can be classified as what?   Elements.  
What consists of two or more elements that are chemically combined in a fixed ratio?   Compounds.  
What consists of two or more substances, but the substances are not chemically combined.   Mixtures.  
What is make up an important group of compounds that contain hydrogen (H+).   Acids.  
What is a substance that releases hydroxide ions (OH-) into solution.   Base.  
This property includes shape, density, odor, melting point, boiling point, and color.   Physical properties.
