IgE   On surface of basophils. Releases heparin and histamine during inflammatory and allergic reactions.

IgG   Most abundant! Provides active immunity, the body's response to pathogens. They are the smallest. Passes through the placenta of mother to fetus to provide passive immunity. Goodness they are abundant but small.

IgM   Largest! The Mother of them all because they are large, but mother F'ers because they are incompatible with blood types during transfusion. Produced the first time the body encounters a pathogen.
