ex. a velcro activity listing times on the left, and representing different activities with pictures on the right

Routines | assist individuals in understanding the environment and in becoming more flexible
ex. doing the same things listed on your visual schedule each day in the same order

Visual Boundaries | Visual boundaries help students understand the specific rules of each space, the types of activities to complete in each space, and the behavioral expectations of a specific space

Work Systems | visually structured sequences that provide opportunities to practice previously taught skills, concepts, or activities
ex. putting activities in an order so you will be practicing skills learned earlier in the lesson

Visual Supports | ny tool presented visually that supports the individual as he or she moves through the day
ex. a visual schedule or color coding

Model/Modeling | Demonstrating an action for a learner
ex. teaching by rote

Reinforcement | a consequence (in the form of an item, activity, or event) that is delivered immediately after a behavior and increases the likelihood that the behavior will occur in the future
ex. a sticker for a good job

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
