when is the Trendleberg Test performed?   client has vericose veins to determine the competence of the saphenous vein(Either of two main superficial veins of the leg, one larger than the other, that begin at the foot.) valves and retrograde filling of the superficial veins

How is the Trendleberg Test performed   Client = supine. Elevate Clients leg 90 degress @px 15 sec . Apply tourniquet to upper thigh. Assist client stand, I. Venous filling remove tournaquet I. For sudden filling of vericose veins from above= abnormal

How Check for Homan's Sign   Client = supine, flex clients knee about 5 degrees, place your hands under the clients calf muscles, squeeze the muscle against the tibia, ask client to report any pain or tenderness, repeat procedure on other leg.
