Clonus   rapid series of abnormal muscle contractions that occur in response to stretching

Hemiplegia   paralysis or weakness on one side of the body caused by damage or disease to the motor nerve tracts on the opposite side of the brain

Paralysis   complete or partial loss of controlled movement caused by the inability to contract 1 or more muscles

Paraplegia   paralysis of both legs and sometimes part of the trunk as a result of nerve damage in the brain or spinal cord.

Spasticity   rigidity in a group of muscles causing stiffness and restriction of movement

Tremor   An involuntary, rhythmic, oscilating movement in muscles

Chorea   Rapid jerky movements, usually affecting face, limbs and trunk
