| Respiration | The process in which oxygen and glucose undergo a complex series of chemical reactions inside cells, also called cellular respiration.

| Trachea | The wind pipe. A passage through which air moves in the respiratory system.

| Bronchi | The passage that directs air into the lungs.

| Lungs | An organ found in air breathing vertibrates.

| Aveoli | tiny sacs of lung tissue specializes for the movement of gasses between air and blood.

| Diaphram | a large muscle located at he bottom of a mammals ribcage that functions in breathing.

| Larynx | the voicebox laocated in teh top part of teh trachea underneath the epiglottis.

| Vocal Chords | Folds of connective tissue that stretch across teh opening of the larynx and produce a person's voice.
