Traditions   Customs often associated with celebrations, holidays, and rituals. They tend to survive from one generation to the next generation

Technology   The scientific knowledge and tools available to a culture

Values   Beliefs about what is good, desirable, and worth holding on to.

Basic Needs   Things that cultures need to survive. (Food, water, shelter, clothing)

Language   The way people communicate. Every culture on Earth has a language it speaks and some have a system of writing

Government   Person or group of people who make laws, make decisions for war, and collect taxes.  
🗑
Economy   The way cultures around the world make money or trade goods .  
🗑
Social Organization   The way a culture is formed into groups. The groups may be based on how much money or the type of jobs people have.

Education   The way in which a culture teaches or trains it’s members topics such as religion, science, math, history, etc.

Religion   What people believe in, and how they worship their god(s).

Recreation   Things people do for fun; the ways in which people have fun or spend their free time

Art   Cultures may make sculptures, pottery and paintings. They show how people live or what they believe is important.

Family Patterns   Most basic social group in a culture. The way families are set up can vary from culture to culture
