Iodine Solution   is used as a test for starch, giving blue-black colour when starch and iodine are mixed together   (blank)

Benedict's reagent   is used to test for reducing sugars. When they are mixed together and heated, a range of colours, incl. yellow, orange or brick-red will be produced if reducing sugars are present   (blank)

Biuret reagent   is used as a test for proteins, giving a violet colour when mixed with a protein   (blank)

Sucrose   is a non reucing sugar, which can be hydrolised into its constituents monosaccharides (glucose + fructose) using dilute hydrochloric acid or sucrase.   Both glucose and fructose are reducing sugars which can then be detected using Benedict reagent.
