Absolute Monarchy | A form of government where the sovereign (monarch) has all the power

Head of Government | The person in charge of the day-to-day business of running the country

Head of State | a leader who does not have very much power

Constitutional Monarchy | A form of government that has a king or queen as its head of state; his/her powers are limited by the constitution

Legislative Branch | usually made up of people who are elected by the citizens of the country - main purpose is to create laws

||||
Executive Branch | main purpose is to enforce, or carry out, the laws passed by the legislative branch
🗑

||||
Judicial Branch | in charge of the courts in a country that settle disputes among citizens and the government; interpret and apply laws
