Multiplication Law of Exponents   when multiplying terms with like bases add the exponents

Division Law of Exponents   when dividing terms with like bases, subtract the exponents

Power Law of Exponents   when raising a monomial to an exponent, multiply (distribute) the exponent to ALL inside exponents

Negative Law of Exponents   when a term has a negative exponent, if it is on the top, move it to the bottom; if it is on the bottom, move it to the top.

Zero law of Exponents   anything with an exponent of zero is equal to 1.
