Base   The number to be multiplied times itself using the value of an exponent

Factor   A whole number that divides exactly into another number

Factor Tree   A diagram used to identify the prime factors of a composite number

Prime   A number that has exactly 2 factors

Composite   A number that has 3 or more factors

Integers   A positive number, negative number, or zero, but NOT a fraction or decimal

Expression   Symbols, numbers, variables, operations, and grouping symbols representing a number or quantity

Operations   There are four basic - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Order of Operations   The order in which operations should be done to solve an equation
