What is the stamp Act?   The Stamp Act was passed by the British parliment in 1765. Tax was then charged on any paper like products. The Colonists were very against this, and they said that it was very unconstitutional.

What did the Townshend acts put a tax on?   The townshend Acts put a tax on lead, glass, paint, paper, and tea.

What was the Boston Massacre?   The Boston MAssacre was the killing of 5 colonists by British regulars on March 5, 1770. From then on, there was continuous antagonism between Boston, and those that were trying to enforce the Kings rule.

Define the Tea Act.   The Tea Act was in 1773, and it made the tea cheaper to buy. This was the result of the Colonists throwing tea into the bay. The colonists reacted to the Tea Act by not letting the ships unload, and not buying any tea, but Governor Hutchinson would not le
