Blepharoptosis | Drooping of the upper eyelid. May be congential or caused by paralysis or weakness of 3rd (oculumotor) cranial nerve, or sympathetic nerves, or by the excessive weight of the upper lids.

Blepharospasm | Sudden, involuntary spasm of the orbicularis oculi muscle, producing uncontrolled blinking.

Blindness | Inability to see

Bulbar | Refers to the eyeball

Canaliculus | Tiny channel in each eyelid that forms part of the tear drainage system.

Canthus | Angle formed by the inner or outer junction of the upper and lower eyelids.

Caruncle | Pink, fleshy conjuctival tissue in the nasal corner of each eye over the semilunar fold.

Cataract | Opacity or cloudiness of the crystalline lens, which may prevent a clear image from forming on the retina.

Central Visual Acuity | Eyes best vision, used for reading and distinguishing detail and color.
