rate | A quantity, amount, or degree of something measured per unit of something else. Example: 80 words per minute.

ratio | Compares values of different things such as boys to girls or desks to chairs.

unit rate | The ratio of two measurements in which the second term is 1.

conversion factor | A unit used to multiply or divide a quantity when converting from one system of units to another – such as inches to yards.

similar | These two shapes are this when one is smaller and/or flipped over, but otherwise the same.
