The National Federation of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (NFLPN) has developed a code for the LPN/LVN. The code specifies the nurse must   Know and function within the scope of practice. Maintain patient confidences. Provide care without discrimination. Maintain a high degree of personal and professional behavior. Take an active role in the development of the profession.
