How do we determine the center for a circle in the equation x^2 + y^2 = 9? | First put equation in standard form, (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2 (h,k) is the center and r^2 is the radius. (0,0) is the center, 3 is the radius.

What is the radius in this equation? (x-2)^2+(y+2)^2=25? | The radius is the square root of 25, or 5.
