Question
Answer
How do you find slope/rate of change?   y-change divided by x-change; m = y2-y1/x2-x1
🗑
What is the slope-intercept form of an equation and what do the variables represent?   y= mx + b m is the slope, b is the y-intercept
🗑
How do you graph a line from the slope-intercept form of an equation?   Plot your y-intercept. From that point, use your slope to find another point on the line. Connect the two points.
🗑
What is the standard form of a linear equation and what must you remember about the coefficients?   Ax + By = C The coefficients cannot be fractions or decimals, and the A-term must be positive.
🗑
What is the point-slope form of a linear equation?   y -y1 = m(x-x1) This equation is the easiest to use when you are provided with a point and a slope.
🗑
What are x- and y-intercepts?   The points on a graph where the line crosses through the x- and y- axes. The intercepts inform you of what will happen in a given sitaution when one of the variables is a value of zero.
🗑
How do you mathematically determine your x- and y-intercepts?   Plug in a value of 0 for x and solve for y to determine your y-intercept. Plug in a value of y and solve for x to determine your x-intercept.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
