Maternalism?   Nope, there are no other values aside from market values. eg: mothers ought only view their children as a relationship between the cost of raising them v. their potential future income.

What gets sacrificed?   eguality, faitness, and social goods such as parks, roads, police, etc.

Thesis;   Government insistance of social goods and equality trample over individual rights to the market. The individual right not to be coerced is more important than "social good".
