ALGORITHM  An algorithm is a set of rules for performing a procedure. Some examples of algorithms are the rules for long disision or the rules for adding two fractions.
ANGLE  Consists of two rays that meet at a vertex, measured in degrees or radians
ARC OF A CIRCLE  A part of a circle. Arcs are classified as minor or major depending on the central angle.
ARC LENGTH  The length of the arc of a circle. It is calculated using the formula (a/360) x 2r x NUMBER PI where a is the central angle of the arc.
AREA  The measure of the amount of surface enclosed by the sides of a figure. It is measured in square units such as square cm, square inches and square miles.
