QuestionAnswer
What is a sacrament? A sacrament is a sign institated by Chrit to give grace. There are seven of them.
What is baptism? Baptism washes away original sin and any other sin.
The first type od Baptism. Baptism of water- being baptized in a way the church intends.
The second type of Baptism. Baptism of desire- One who desires God and strives for the truth and goodness in the way he/she knows it. Good men and women of other faiths of no faith at all are saved by christ through Baptism of desire.
The third type of Baptism. Baptism of blood- One who is martyred for Christ is saved even if he/she is not Baptized
What is confession? the sacrament where our sins are forgiven, especially mortal sins that prevenet us from going to heaven or recieving holy communioin
what is holy communion? the sacrament where we recieve the ACTUAL boby and blood of jesus christ under the apperance of bread and wine.
What is conformation? THe Sacrament where we are confirmed as dedicated members of the church. we recieive a great outpouring of the holy spirit in this sacrament
What is Holy orders? The sacrament where men can vow to be preists for the church.
that is holy matrimony? The sacrament where a man and women vow to give themselves to each other untill death and to be open to the gift of children.
conjugal love... The sexuall act between husband and wife that completes and reaffirms the wedding vows.
unity... The conjugal act unites the married couple physically, emotionally and spirtually
procreation The conjugal act must at least be open to the gift of life.
annulment THis means that when the two said their vaws, there were conditions that made the vows invalid.
What is the annointing of the sick? The sacrament where those who in danger of dying are anointed on the head and hands with oli to give the grace for a peaceful death
