What is the New Deal and how did it have to do with FDR? The new deal was a plan that FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) set up, it was to supply people with food and jobs.
Where did D-day occur? Normandy, France.
Define astrolabe Ancient Greek device used to find latitude.
Define conquistador Spanish conqueror or soldier in the Americas.
Who was John Cabot? English explorer who sailed across the Atlantic and landed on the Newfoundland
Who was Ferdinand Magellan? Portages, but became Spanish. Sailed completed around the world.
Who was Henry Hudson? From the Netherlands, found the Hudson river and the Hudson Bay.
Who was Jacques Cartier? From France. Sailed past Newfoundland to St. Laurence river.
Who was Vasco De Nunez Balboa? Led soldiers in to panama
What was the "Reformation?" Martin Luther wanted to reform the Catholic church and it led to the creation of new Christian Churches.
Who was Martin Luther? He tried to reform the Catholic church which led to a revolution in Christianity.
What did Martin Luther fight against? The Roman Catholic Church.

Define Industrialism Economic system in which people rely more on the use of machinery and technology than an animal or human power

Name three works of Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet, a Mid Summer Nights Dream, Twelfth Night.
What is the definition of "The Divine Right of Kings?" That kings rule by the will of God.
