hemophilia bleeder's disease, inherited from mom to son
sickle cell disease abnormal hemoglobin which gives up oxygen to interstital fluid and causes the cell to sickle and rupture easily- erythropoiesis cannot keep pace with hemolysis- prolonged oxygen reduction may cause extensive tissue damage
jaundice yellowing of skin and eyes due to excess bilirubin in the blood
thrombocytopenia (penia=poverty) very low platelet count that results in a tendency to bleed from capillaries
