QuestionAnswer
what is confession? The sacrament where the priest absolves our sins i the name of christ.
what are the five nessesary steps to makeing a good confession? contrition. a firm purpose of ammendment, examine his/her consience, confess all unforgiven mortal sins, and perform the penance given by the priest.
what is contrition? Is sorrow for our sins.
what is inperfect sarrow? When we are sorry for our sins because we fear gods punishment.
What is perfect sorrow? when we are sorry for our sins because we hurt god who loves us.
What is a firm purpose of ammendment? The derermination to avoid all mortal sin in the future.
Examinatiomn of conscience? When we look at our lives and see our sinful tendenceys.
what is confessing all mortal sins? Meeans we must confess any mortal sin that hasnt been forgiven.
What is Penance? The act the priest gives us after going to confession.
What is humility? When we have a healthy awareness of our own sinfullness.
what is state of life? The particular situation that god has in our present life.
wg=hat are the four vocations? preisthood, feligous life,married life, and single life?
what is the preisthood? men called by god to serve him and the church exclusivley
what is religious life? preists, brothers and sisters who take vows to live and work under the direction of a superior in a religious order
what is married life? WHen a man and women vow to be faithful untill death and are open to the gift of life.
what is single life? When a person remains single and lives a life of chastisy
