BICEPS BRACHII flexion, supination of the forearm. Also causes slight flexion at shoulder
BRACHIORADIALIS flexion of the forearm
PRONATOR TERES pronation of the forearm
TRICEPS BRACHII extension of the forearm. Also helps extend at shoulder (long head only)
PALMARIS LONGUS flexion of the wrist/fingers. Minimal movement at wrist only
GLUTEUS MAXIMUS ext of the thigh. Also helps tense iliotibial band to laterally support knee
GLUTEUS MEDIUS abd of the thigh
TENSOR FASCIAE LATAE (TFL) flex, abd, int rot of the thigh. Tenses iliotibial band to laterally support knee
GRACILIS add of the thigh. Also causes knee flexion
ADDUCTOR LONGUS flex, add, int rot of the thigh.
SARTORIUS flex, ext rot of the thigh/leg. Flexes & ER at hip & flexes knee
RECTUS FEMORIS flex, ext of thigh/leg. Flexes at hip & extends at the knee
VASTUS MEDIALIS ext of the thigh/leg. Movement at knee only
VASTUS LATERALIS ext of the thigh/leg. Movement at knee only
VASTUS INTERMEDIUS ext of the thigh/leg. Movement at knee only
BICEPS FEMORIS flex, ext of the thigh/leg. Extends at hip & flexes knee; short head only knee flexion
SEMITENDINOSUS flex, ext of the thigh/leg. Extends at hip & flexes knee.
