possesive pronoun is a form of personal pronoun that shows possession or ownership
abjective is a work phraseor clause that modifies a noun
verb is a word or phrase that is used to express an action or state of being
adverb is a word, phrase, or clause that modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb
preposition is a word that shows the relationship of the noun or pronoun to some other word in the sentence
conjunction is a word that joins words phrases or clauses
interjection isa word or phrase that expresses emotion exclamation
clause is a group of words that has subject and predicate
independant clause expresses a complete thought and can stand alone as a sentence
dependant clause does not express a complete thought and can stand alonea as a stentence

direct object is the person or thing that is directly offe cted by the action of the verb
