ITP: Idiopathic thrombocyopenic purpura Is.... a bleeding disorder in which the immune system destroys platelets, which are necessary for normal blood clotting
What results from decreased production of platelets? Thrombocytopenia
Best parental fluid in trauma situ? Packed RBCs
Excessive corticosteroid therapy ca lead to? Cushings syndrome
Corticosteroids are potent suppressors of the body's inflammatory response do they suppress? the immune response
zidovudine drug action... Interferes with viral replication.
