Examine lesions for? size, color, size, shape, consistency, elevation, location, distribution, configuration, tenderness, and presence of fluid
What is a macule? freckle
What is a papule? elevated nevus
What is a nodule? wart
What is a vesicle? blister
What is a pustule? acne
What is a wheal? insect bite
Wht is an erosion? ruptured vesicle
What is a crust? scab
What is a scale? dandruf
What is a fissure? tinea pedis
What is an ulcer? pressure ulcer
Vascular lesions are created with? aging changes and when damage occurs to the blood vessels near the skin
What is peripheral vascular? thicker, more rigid peripheral blood vessel walls with a narrowed lumen leading to poor peripheral circulation
