Factors that inhibit oxalic acid (found in bitter food - spinach, cocoa, rhubarb, charred food), phytate (outer covering of grain), stress, lack of excercise, caffeine, and GIT motility
Osteoporosis risk factors gender (women), race (white, asian), menopause, family history, smoking, disease, poor diet, status
Calcitonin short term treatment for osteoporosis
Estrogen replacement therapy long term, risk factor for cancer
