TMJ abnormal position of mandible and temporomandibular joint (clicking sound may be present)--tx:reduce grinding (mouth guard @ night), pain mgmt, reduce talkin gand eating of foods that will inc inflammation/pain, ROM exercises, surgery
Parotitis inflammation of parotid gland--one in each cheek over jaw in front of ears--check for bad teeth first!
