rest | body is in decreased state of activity with the consequent feeling of being refreshed |
restless leg syndrom | cant lie still, unpleasant creeping crawling tingling in legs |
sleep | state of rest accompanied by altered consciousness and relative inactivity |
sleep apnea | absence of breathing or diminished breathing btwn snoring intervals |
sleep cycle | person passes consectively thru 4stages of NRM, the pattern is then reversed by instead of going to I - enters REM sleep |
sleep deprivation | decrease in ammount/consistency/quality of sleep |
somnambulism | sleep walking, sleep talking, nite terrors, bruxism and eneurisis |
