Rubber band ligation to treat prolapse hemorrhoids A rubber band placed snugly around the hemorrhoid and surroinding mucosa, causing tissue to necrose and slough off in 7-10 days.
Nursing care Educate pt in the importance of dietary fiber, liveral fluid intake, and regular exercise to maintain stool bulk, softness, and regularity.
