How to you determine the estimated due date? Identify day of LMP, go back 3 months, then add 7 days. (Adjust year if needed)
What does GTPALM stand for? Gravida- # of pregnancies Term- baby born after 37 weeks Premature- baby born before 37 weeks Abortion- pregnancy ended Living children Multiple babies one pregnancy
What does para mean? # of pregnancies that ended in birth
What does nullipara mean? Baby was never delivered
When does pre-eclampsia become eclampsia and what happens to baby? Once mom has seizure it becomes eclampsia and the baby will stop growing.
