what is effusion versus edema effusion is the swelling inside a joint, edema is the swelling of the tissues outside of the joint.
what is the morse fall scale a scale with questions designed to determine how much of a risk a person is to fall. the lower the score the less the risk of falling.
describe an x ray looks at bones and densities, can identify enlarged heart and pneumonia, pneumothorax.
what is a DEXA scan looks at bone density, can identify degenerative bone diseases.
what is an arthrogram air or contrast is injected into a joint, is painful and can be used for hard to fine fractures, worn down cartilage, torn ligaments. use the MRI screening checklist
what is a bone scan can identify general degenerative diseases like osteoporosis or cancer. injection of radioactive isotope that reveals hotspots that indicate cancer.
