what is COPD? an incurable/ irreversible , progressive disease of the airways through bronchoconstriction and inflammation
two components of COPD chronic bronchitis and emphysema
what is chronic bronchitis disease where bronchial tubes become inflamed and narrowed, and lungs produce more mucus -- chronic cough
what is emphysema? disease that causes destruction/ collapse of the alveoli, causing air to get trapped and impairing airflow
