Give two negative effects of a volcano 1- Gases produced by volcanoes, such as sulfur dioxide, can poison people who live nearby and cause acid rain. 2- There can be huge loss of human life when a volcano erupts.
Name an area with lots of volcanic activity Iceland- as it is on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
Can you give three reasons why people might want to live in an area prone to volcanic activity? 1- Millions of trees replanted. 2- Farmers are given compensation 3- Tourist facilities are built to accommodate people who visit the area
