What is an ecosystem? A geographic area where plants, animals, and other organisms, as well as weather and landscape, work together to form a bubble of life.
What does Biome mean? An area classified according to the habitat and species that live in that location .
What is Sustainability? The practice of using natural resources responsibly, so they can support both present and future generations.
What is Biodiversity? A term used to describe the enormous variety of life on Earth. It can be used more specifically to refer to all of the species in one region or ecosystem
What is human wellbeing? The recognition that everyone around the world aspires to live well. It is measured by combining facts and figures with indicators that have a bearing on people's lives such as wealth, education and health.
What is deforestation? The purposeful clearing or decrease of forested land.
What is Pollution? The introduction of harmful materials into the environment.
What does GDP stand for? Gross Domestic Product
What is qualitative data? The collection of information about human behaviour and perception.
What is quantitative data? The collection of information that can be counted in numbers.
What does GDP refer to? The final value of the goods and services produced within a specific region or country, during a specified period of time.
What does the SHEEPT factors refer to? Social/Historic/Economic/Environmental/Political/Technological
What does PQE method stand for? Pattern/Quantitfy/Exceptions
