acculturation: when a individual or group adopts some of the traits of another culture

culture diffusion when an idea of innovation spreads from one person or group to another and is adopted
globalization: when connections around the world increase cultures and become more alike
traditions: following longtime practices and opposing new ideas
fundamentalism: any case where people believe in following traditional beliefs or teachings
dialect: a regional variety of a language
