pustule small inflamed swelling of the skin that is filled with pus
rubra unusual redness or flushing of the skin
sebaceous gland gland that secretes oily matter for lubricating hair and skin
senile purpura dark purple bruises on forearms & back of hands, commonly in elderly
shearing when the skin is stretched in 1 direction & the underlying bones move in the opposite direction
skin tear shallow injury, epidermis is ripped or torn
subcutaneous tissue layer of skin under dermis, attaches skin to muscle
sudoriferous gland sweat glands
tepid lukewarm
vesicle blister-like skin lesion
wheal small swelling on the skin, like an insect bite, that usually itches or burns, a welt
