After the Industrial Revolution British Iron and Steel Industry was found | Close to Coalfields because: 1.Coal had replaced wood as the main source of power and this led to relocation of this industry near coalmines. |
From 1950's onwards the British Iron and Steel Industry was found | On the coasts because: 1.Britain's coal and Iron mine almost used up 2.Oil now the main source of power 3.Oil, coal and Iron ore all being imported into Britain by sea. |
