Natural Environment All living and non-living things that are naturally on earth
Climate The composite or general weather conditions of a region
Atmosphere the gaseous envelope surrounding the earth; the air
Natural Vegetation The vegetation that would have been growing in any given area without people
Culture The quality in a society that arises from a concern for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits
Landform A specific feature on the surface of the Earth
Language a body of words and the systems for their use common to a people who are of the same or nation
Infrastructure The basic, underlying framework or features of a system
Elevation The height to which something is elevated or to which it rises
Ecosystem a system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment
Weather The state of the atmosphere with respect to wind, temperature, cloudiness, moisture, and pressure
Biomes A complex biotic community characterized by distinctive plant and animal species and maintained under the climatic conditions of the region
Groundwater The water beneath the surface of the ground,
Soil The portion of the earth's surface consisting of disintegrated rock
Hydrosphere The water on or surrounding the surface of the Earth
Lithosphere The crust and upper mantle of the earth
Biosphere The part of the earth's crust, waters, and atmosphere that supports life
