Government | Different cultures have different political systems. There is a democracy/republic, and a dictatorship/monarchy/oligharchy. There are three types of government are electede, forced, and inherited. |
Economy | How products are produced and exchanged. There are three types of economy which are command, traditional, and market. |
Traditional Economy | Family or community-based on custom and rituals. Examples: Aborigines (Australia)and the Amazon people (S. America) |
Market Economy | Individual or consumer-based relies on consumer choices (supply and demand) Examples: USA, Japan, United Kingdom |
Command Economy | Centrally controlled government mnakes all decisions. Examples: Cuba, China |
Mixed Economy | Some government control in a market system (see #2) Examples: USA, Japan, United Kingdom |
