SR- slow reversal  Muscle Imbalance, limited ROM  Increase ROM, increase controlled movement  
SRH- slow, reversal, hold  Lack of motor control  increase strength, stability, controlled movement  
RC- relax, contract  Muscle weakness  Increase strength  
TE- timing for emphasis  Weakness within the ROM  Increase strength with in the ROM  
AR- antagonist reversals  Muscle weakness around a joint   
RI- Rhythmic intitation  Decreased ROM, hypertonia   
HRAM- hold, relax, active motion  Hypertonia, decreased movement in one direction   
HR- Hold, relax  Muscle tightness on one side of the joint   
CR- contract, relax  Decreased ROM on one side of the joint   
RS- rhythmic stabilization  Decreased ROM due to splinting of a joint   
RR- reverse, relax  Hypertonia with no active movement   
RP- Resisted progression  Lack of muscle strength and endurance
