When calculating angles in circular motion we use units of?  Radians
To convert from degrees to radians we multiply by  pi/180
To convert todegrees from radians multiply by  180/pi
Angular velocity is....  the angle swept out by a radius per unit time, symbol w
The units for angular velocity is  rad/s
angular velocity =  angle change/time
angular velocity is also related to  the frequency of a system
angular velocity also =  2 x pi x f
The time period of a system can be eqauted to  1/f or 2pi/angular velocity
The linear speed of an object moving in a circle is related to  its angular velocity
linear speed =  radius x angular velocity
The force on an object moving in a circular path is also called  centripetal force
the size of a centripetal force is given by either  F=mv^2/r or mrw^2
centripetal acceleration =  v^2/r or rw^2
