Question? Answer!
What is the mean and how can it be found?  The mean is the average of all the numbers in a set of data. It can be found by adding all the numbers up and then dividing them by the amount of numbers added together.
What is the median and how can it be found?  The median is the middle number in a set of data. It can be found by placing the data in order from least to greatest and finding the middle number. If there is an even amount of numbers then you must find the average of the middle two numbers.
What is the mode and how can it be found?  The mode is the number that is most repeated in a set of data. If more than one number is repeated the same amount of times then you list them all. If all or none are repeated the same amount of times or none at all then all or none of them are the mode.
What is the range and how can it be found?  The range is the difference between the largest and smallest number in a set of data. It can be found by subtracting the smallest number from the largest number.
What are the extremes and how can it be found?  The extremes are the smallest and largest values in a set of data.
In a line graph the horizontal axis is known as the _ _ _ _ _ _.  x-axis
In a line graph the vertical axis is known as the _ _ _ _ _ _.  y-axis
You must always _ _ _ _ _ your graph.  title
If the stem is 4 and the leaf is 3 in a stem-and-leaf plot, what is the number?  43
If one point on a line graph is (0,5) and another point is (3,15), what is the slope?  10/3
What is the y-intercept?  The y-intercept is the point at which a graph crosses the y-axis.
What is the x-intercept?  The x-intercept is the point at which the graph crosses the x-axis.
What is y=mx+b?  y=mx+b is a linear equation.
What do the letters in y=mx+b represent?  "m"=slope and "b"=y-intercept.
What is the mean of this set of data: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.  3
What is the median of: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5  2.5
What is the median of: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5  3
What is the mode of: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, and 7.  5
What are the extremes of: 1, 3, 6, 8, 13, and 17.  1 and 17
What is the range of: 3, 9, 12, 17, 23, and 29  26
What is the slope of y=3/4x+5?  3/4
What is the y-intercept of y=5/8x+9?  9
When stating a point on a graph you should always use _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.  ordered pairs
When stating ordered pairs what order do the values go in?  x then y (x,y)
If in a linear equation no slope is state, it is presumed the slope is _.  1/1
