What does it mean when the relative risk is equal to one? No assoc. b/w the risk factor and disease
What is most important in a screening test? high sensitivity
What is most imporant in a confirmatory test? high specificity
Assuming a normal bell shaped distribution, what % of the study population falls within 1, 2, and 3 standard deviations from the mean? 1SD from the mean is 68%, 2SD is 95%, 3 SD is 99.7%
A study shows that taking 325mg of ASA a day has no effect on ischemic cardiac events. What type of error is this? Type II error (or beta error)
