Investors Provide finance to start up and develop a business

Suppliers Supply the goods or services to the business
Stakeholders Entrepreneur, Investors, Suppliers, Service providers, Employees, Consumers, Government
Service providers Electricity, telephone, waste disposal
Employees rights Safe and healthy workplace. Written contract of employment, to be paid a fair wage. To join a trade union
Employees responsibilities Fair days work. Obey contract. Honest and loyal.
Employers rights recruiting and selecting the employees. Directing employees. Dismissing unsatisfactory employees
Employers responsibilities Providing a contract of employment. Payment of wages. Provide safe working conditions
Trade Unions A group that represents workers. Protects their rights and rates of pay e.g SIPTU
SIPTU Services, Industrial, Professional, Technical union
Government The government gets corporation tax from business profit
Interest group Groups of people who share common interest or goals. They have more power and more likely to be listened to by the decision makers.
Interest group Aka ,pressure groups because their activities such as public protest or publicity campaigns apply pressure to receive the results they desire
Lobbying (requesting meetings) promoting their views on air. e.g greenpeace
IBEC Irish Business and Employers Confederation
Trade associations Represents businesses which are in the same trade. e.g Irish Travel Agents Assocition represents travel agents
