Term | Definition |
Complex Fraction | A fraction with fractions in the numerator or denominator. |
Direct Variation | A relationship between two variables in which one is a constant multiple of the other. |
Rate Of Change | Momentum and change are simple technical analysis indicators showing the difference. |
Constant of Proportionality | The constant value of the ratio of two proportional quantities. |
Constant Rate of Change | In linear relationships, the constant rate of change is illustrated as the graph of the equation, which is a straight line. |
Constant of Variation | In mathematics, two variables are proportional if a change in one is always accompanied by a change in the other, and if the changes are always related by use of a constant. |
Coordinate Plane | A Cartesian coordinate system is a coordinate system that specifies each point uniquely in a plane by a pair of numerical coordinates, which are the signed distances from the point to two fixed perpendicular directed lines. |
Cross Products | The product of two real vectors in three dimensions that is itself a vector at right angles to both the original vectors. |
Dimensional Analysis | Analysis using the fact that physical quantities added to or equated with each other must be expressed in terms of the same fundamental quantities. |
Equivalent Ratios | Ratios whose fraction re presentations are equivalent are called equivalent ratios. For example, 3 to 4 and 6 to 8 are equivalent. |
