Psychosomatic Illness | A physical disorder arising as a result of a psychological trigger, “It’s all in your head.” |
Psychophysical Illness | Addresses the stress-related problems that have the potential to result in physical signs and symptoms. |

Somatization (Somatoform disorder or Briquet’s syndrome): | A disorder whose typical characteristics are recurrent, multiple, physical complaints and symptoms for which there is no organic cause. |

Anorexia Nervosa: Occurence | 2) Occurs predominantly in adolescent girls of above-average intelligence |

Bulimia Nervosa (Bingeing): Symptoms | Feelings of low self-esteem, lack of control and guilt. Anxiety and depression are also components of this disorder. |
