Genotype   The Entire Genetic Makeup of an organism and the combination of genes for one or more specific traits

Dominant Trait   The traint observed in the first generation when parents that have differents traits are bred

Recessive Trait   A trait that is apparent only when to recessive alleles for the same characteristic are inherited

Allele   One of the alternative forms of a gene that governs a charecteristic, such as hair color

Probability   The lielihood that a possible future event will ocur in any given instance of the event

Pure Bread   Organisms bred from parents of the same kind

Heterozygous   Where one gene is dominant and one is recessive
